Vertafore is a great company. It's stable, the people are wonderful, and the benefits are good. The only challenge I've had is micromanagement from executives at the VP level. VPs need to put more trust into their employees, empower them to do their jobs, and improve communication across departments

We have a really positive culture! Communication is great, as is transparency. There's really no toxicity.

Getting to work with my team is by far the thing that makes me the happiest.

The leadership team for the most part seems to focus priorities on legitimate problems that our customers face.

While pay is lower than market average, employees are genuinely encouraged to maintain a healthy work life balance and use flexible PTO.

The marketing team is fantastic. Every individual I've worked or crossed paths with is warm, friendly, and open to collaboration. They are all talented at what they do as well.

There is a lot of intention that goes into creating a positive work culture. Some of my favorites include employee resource groups, manager/leadership training, professional development opportunities, and promoting from within.

The leadership team at Vertafore is transparent. I was pleasantly surprised when customer satisfaction and NPS ratings were shared during a company-wide update. I've worked at companies in the past where they actively work to hide that info. They openly discuss when there are areas for improvement.

There is an intentional effort both at the company and team level to keep employee morale and engagement high. Whether it's in-person happy hours, virtual team building events, company updates, or investing in L & D, Vertafore is doing all of the right things to build a great company culture.

I have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team, do what I'm best at each day, and I'm provided with the trust and autonomy to do my job. I also feel that ideas are genuinely heard and taken into consideration at every level of the organization. Employees are empowered to share input.
