For corporate America, not too bad, all things considered. Can be very clique-y though, lots of friends promoting friends disguised as "networking." Hiring process way too long. HR not always in touch with what leaders are doing (engagement pulse discussions not tracked). NO EMPATHY from HR... EVER.

Recognition for going above and beyond... although that recognition does not come often

Traveling to other offices to meet new folks, getting praise for a job well done (although PAID mymoments would be a plus).
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For my role and tenure, much less compared to state and country-wide averages, I am being paid at least $20k-30k less than I should be. Our benefits should include MUCH better coverage for dental, and especially for MENTAL HEALTH including THERAPY!!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I appreciate that we are reached out to in event of extreme weather or other dangerous issues (like recent shootings in our area), and seeing offices come together to support families of associates who have passed away, having the ADP Cares fund, etc.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For the amount of work I do, and the expectations of travel to be in office (tolls, gas), compared to other industries in the same field, I am underpaid by 20-40 thousand or more. If we had better mental and general health care coverage I'd feel better about the lack of appropriate comp/pension!
