RingCentral is a grown-up start-up. You get the best of both worlds (and also challenges) with this mid-size company. You have resources like a large company but your work still makes an impact you can feel like a small company which is gratifying. It's not for everyone, but I love it!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They stay out of my way and don't push back.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's very casual and on par with a typical tech company in the silicon valley.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the actual work I do. I feel like I'm making an impact and positive difference.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
RSUs, facilities benefits (free breakfast/lunch, casual culture/environment, gym classes. Wish there were more flexibility with the health/wellness benefits (e.g. a stipend instead of classes).
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We don't have the best working remote culture and I wish that could change. The open space working environment makes it really hard to get work done. I liked having an office in the past and I don't mind the open space but there needs to be balance.
