It gave me an opportunity to go in a different direction - software vs. hardware and Layer 2 services - and I appreciated the change. Definitely a lot of growing pains but the direction is mainly positive. Too many initiatives without structure. Friendly & outgoing team members make the day fly by

Due to my length of time in similar roles in technology I feel I should merit a higher base pay.

I learn something new every day and nearly everyone that I interact with is willing to share their knowledge and skills with me.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I have been able to help a customer solve a difficult problem and getting a deeper understanding of the subtleties of our products and services.
