Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

My experience has been turbulent and extremely stressful. Communication is a dumpster fire and I constantly worry because I don't know what's going on with my job.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The general nature of inclusivity of people of different races, genders, orientations, and backgrounds.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Higher pay, especially for USA employees. Permanent work from home availability for those who have proven their work ethic.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop hiring call center managers, they encourage a culture of overworking and underserving employees. Also, get better at communicating what your expectations are.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My direct supervisor has been very supportive. They help me have the tools I need to do my job, and they always encourage me to talk to them if I have an issue.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Some of my coworkers take advantage of working from home and avoid working, but receive minimal to no consequences. As a QA, I've repeatedly reported consistent work avoidance and seen nothing done about it.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Employees who consistently show their initiative and strong work ethic should be rewarded with higher pay the the opportunity to advance in the company. Employees with no patterns of work avoidance or behavioral issues shouldn't be forced to return to site.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

TaskUs is turning into a typical call center environment little by little. Please understand that without the front-line of employees interacting with customers and doing all the grunt work, middle and upper managers would not have their jobs. Show more respect and show more appreciation.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Middle management often asks me to do more work beyond what is realistic, and usually bypasses my direct supervisor to do so. This is one example of them asking for too much, and not following chain of command by choosing not to speak to my supervisor first.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Recognizing those of us who put in hard work through incentives. Making an effort to retain high performers, including helping them stay work from home instead of forcing them to start driving to site. Providing coaching and corrective action to employees who display work avoidance or bad behavior.
