The overall experience was great. My project, team, manager everything was perfect. The only sad part was the company could not come up with the headcount for the conversion for so long time, and made the candidates wait indefinitely. It would be really great if they can improve upon the hiring part
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The work and projects they have are really amazing. I really love how uber is leveraging its existing infrastructure to establist new verticles. The people are so helpful and nice.
What makes you most happy at work?
My project was really interesting and I loved to go at work everyday and learn how things are done. I was excited to meet my teammates and work on my project.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They have really allowed the talent to drain, as they could not release the results for so long time. It is really disappointing to see that a industry leading company is doing this. They still don't have any visibility about when the results could be declared.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Never had much of a chance to interact with leadership except for the first day introduction session. The team had to decide the headcount for the full time conversion of internship. It has been 1.5 months our internship ended and the leadership team still could not decide the headcount.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team was really great and people I worked with were amazing. They helped me to grow and learn so much. They always cleared my doubts and made sure that I fit in well. My mentor was amazing and I really helped a lot to learn do a good project.
