There is a lot of emphasis on growth, and our leadership team is pushing hard for us to be more price competitive which is great for the sales team

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Engage with their employees on what the company's short, medium and long term strategy is. Employees should feel more inspired by leadership. Seems to be a lot of resource wastage, and not convinced leaders at highest level have their finger on the pulse of the company.

Decision making seems arbitrary on occasion and not driven by customer demand Salary scales need a review as many staff are undervalued and underpaid. Recruitment is not planned well enough and many departments are running on much reduced resources leading to key staff being overworked

The compensation package is competitive in all areas.

I am relatively new but the electric vehicle scheme seems appealing. The support with a corporate card is also a great point.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflation this year was at a all time high around 8% and our increase was only 4%. A lot of companies are paying higher wages for similar positions at OpSec.

Better pay, better commission structure

Companies find themselves in a competitive market post covid to attract and retain good employees. Bonus plans should reflect or even improve upon companies they are competing against. A good salesperson will always know their services are in demand will be hungry for the best financial package.

Improved communication across all aspects of the business

Much more communication and in a clear and concise way on the strategy and direction of the business. A more open environment in which to voice concerns and actually see the outcomes and resolution of issues . Removal of the culture of blame that seems to exist in some areas.
