Advance is a hard company to work for. they tell you here are our values and beliefs, but at the end of the day you have management making their own rules as they go and the communication is poor.

Hard to have co-workers have a good attitude, because the team has been not acknowledge for the good work they have done.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Need wholesale changes at upper management. Too many different backgrounds and not enough traditional parts people working together to make a better company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
You are paid, what the company feels as good compensation, however, when you have lousy health care it strips away at any financial good will.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Too many to list in a survey. Need to figure out what the true identity of the company is. No longer a true parts store.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, direction, and execution. Too many times things are mentioned and never followed through. Too much a "clic" culture. You are selling auto parts and not widgets.
