Very positive, Alkami values work life balance and it is apparent, we value time away to recharge/refresh. We have a work hard play hard mentality. I am treated like an adult and I never feel micromanaged; we are expected to do the job we are hired for and given the tools/support for success.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's fair and competitive. Based on research it is on the higher end of the compensation scale for my position.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Alkami accepts folks from all walks of life and values everyone's opinions and ideas, we are a diverse and inclusive company. I have never felt so welcomed and valued at a company before and this is by far the largest company I've worked for.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people. My lead and manager have done an amazing job making our team feel like a family, I look forward to team calls. Even interacting with people from other teams/departments is great, people are generally happy & friendly and always willing to help!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are welcoming, accepting, and professional. They treat you like another human being and do their absolute best to connect with you on a personal level. They do a great job of creating a fun yet productive work environment, it feels like a family here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team feels like a family; we come from all walks of life, have differing opinions and ideals, yet we always find a way to work together to find the best end result for the team, company, and our clients. We accept each other for who they are and always find ways to have a good time as a team.
