It has been an amazing learning experience where everyday is a opportunity to grow. I have gained so many valuable skills and I cannot wait to continue to grow along side the company and be my best self. The future is exciting for Alkami and I am so appreciative I am able to be a part of it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I enjoy the fact that when chatting they being the excitement around the product we are looking into and teach rather then show.
What makes you most happy at work?
Resolving a issue or addressing a complex problem or wrapping up an epic. I feel the most happy when I feel a sense of accomplishment. The end result is always rewarding when you put everything into it!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Their ability react to situations and not panic. I think our team has a lot of different backgrounds that enable us to help each other out. I enjoy that if my product is going though hard times its not an "I" problem it is a "we" problem.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Change, not just the fact we are having many organizational structure changes but the face we are able to make these changes and still move forward. Another positive is how we are empowering employees to take ownership in their product. which allows employees to see a direct impact they make.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been in a new role for 6.5 months and haven't had a title update or pay change! I feel like my manager has followed my progress and when the time is right we will bump up the pay & title. The role does exceed my previous roles responsibilities but I love the role and trust my manager.
