Alkami is the best company I have worked for in the past 30 years. I love it here and would like to stay until I retire.

I used to love it, now I am worried about the companies future.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The RSUs the are awarded.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think they truly care about our employees as people and don't see us as numbers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team is amazing to work with. We all back each other up and have great communication.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the varied work assignments, my team, and I love that we are trusted enough to work remotely.

My team will pitch in to help anyone that needs it without even being asked. We all have each other's backs.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The raises are good and the share grants are fantastic. The health insurance is also very affordable compared to other companies I've worked at.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our company goes to great lengths to make sure they are inclusive and are receptive to feedback when someone has a suggestion regarding that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are all very smart and you can tell they really care about every single person in the company, from the VP's to the receptionist.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The engineering team is a disaster and I do not believe in the leadership team all the way up to the CTO. Product and Engineering work against each other.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The accountability at the VP and manager level is terrible. I see it play out daily. There are too many initiatives rolled out regularly. Rather than focusing on a few things we have 65 initiatives that can and do change throughout the year. It's hard to follow. The India office is a distraction.
