Alkami has been a breath of fresh air - I came from a full in-office company with a historic mindset from the 80s. They had to push down from the top and never would listen to those below. Alkami is completely opposite, they've invested in their people and the growth they can achieve!

Remote first and open communications.
What makes you most happy at work?
A sense of accomplishment. Completing tasks for our customers, who rely on us heavily to help them succeed.

The high levels of communication - there's never any doubt on what the plans are / where we intend to be.

Clear and consistent communication - There's never a point where rumors and speculation can run wild because they're always providing guidance, reason for decisions, and upcoming changes!

Everyone is invested in making others on the team successful. No one tries to hog the limelight or push people to do things they won't do themselves.

Depth of the work I'm doing and the impact it has on both our company and our customers. Collaborating with others has also been a great experience!

Deep knowledge because they've been in the company for a long time. This helps out immensely in providing context for prior decisions while also being able to assist on any roadblocks I hit!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Opportunity for bonuses based on performance - I highly believe in rewarding those who put forth the extra effort and while I haven't been through a review yet, everything points to this being the case.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For the hours asked and the work done, compensation is pretty lacking. But to hear those who've worked at Alkami for a long time, the pay used to be the best and the drive to succeed was higher before. It leaves a bad taste.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Alkami practices what they preach. All of the onboarding catchphrases you hear are actually put into practice and aligned from the top down. I see them walk the talk every day and it gives me great confidence to believe in the culture they work towards!
