Alkami is by far one of the best companies I have worked for. From the transparency, work-life balance, compensation, and remote forward thinking, I am truly satisfied with my job here.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I truly love Alkami, even as we have grown and evolved I'm excited for it. I do worry about budget constraints that impact our teams and our ability to do our jobs. The people, culture, and work life balance are what truly make Alkami one of the best places to work.
What makes you most happy at work?
The variety of work, and interacting with my co-workers.

I like the transparency and willingness to change and evolve.

The leadership team comes across very confident, transparent, and enthusiastic when addressing the company.

I appreciate the unlimited PTO, the remote forward events/activities, and the unique perks like classpass and linkedin learning.

The humanity, the company understands that we are all part of a family and have lives outside of work.

Everyone is always so excited to get together for on-sites and collaborate. It really does re-invigorate that proud and happiness to work at Alkami.

I appreciate how our team understands that we have lives outside of work that may need more attention at times. Most are collaborative and easy to work with.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Money, but besides that I appreciate the Calm membership, I would enjoy different options instead of Class Pass but it's still a nice perk. Unlimited PTO is also great!
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is a good amount of turnover, for various reasons and that is just hard. Especially when we need people, I worry that some positions wont be replaced even though the team needs that expertise.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love how everyone is willing to pitch in even if it isn't "their job". Everyone shows up to meetings ready to do what needs to be done, and puts their best foot forward while also being realistic.
