I've worked here for several years and until recently I would have said I'll retire here. Even now, I think we're just going through a difficult transition but we'll be back where we should be soon.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy seeing projects that I've put a lot of time and effort into come to fruition and create the benefit they were intended to.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I enjoy most of my coworkers and what I do. The culture has changed recently but I don't think it's a permanent change. We're just in a period of transition.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is open to feedback, they are focused on driving Alkami forward but not at the expense of its people, and they seem to genuinely care about our culture.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We're trying to blend two cultures that do not blend well. I don't know if Executive Leadership is unaware of the challenges or have other areas of focus but many things have become tedious and unnecessarily challenging since March.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued but due to the budget constraints when my role was created, I'm not paid where the scale HR uses says I should be. Therefore it is difficult for me to hire people at the right level because their pay would pass or be too close to mine.
