My experience has been unique but positive. I have never met in person a single peer. I was hired and onboarded during a pandemic. That said everyone treats me properly and seems to respect me as a peer and the skill set I bring to the table.

I started during the throws of the pandemic. Despite not meeting anyone in person for a year, once I started meeting folks it was like we knew each other for ages. It's a place with like minded individuals who want everyone to do well and to accomplish goals the right way.

Alkami invested in me early on. I was given all the tools and training I needed to be successful. Plus I was surrounded by people who was equally invested in my success. Now I get to return the favor. It's the happiest I have been in my career in over 10 years.

The culture is one of unity. We are all driven to be successful together. There is truly no "I" mentality. Everyone chips in.

They understand the different demographics each team member supports and treats each uniquely. Plus they know how to get the most out of all of us.

I work on a team with like minded folks and that we support a product that we believe in, which makes doing the work to win deals worthwhile.

They are fair and reasonable with the entire staff. They work side by side with us in the sales process. They are as invested as we are.

Everyone always finds a way to keep things in the positive. We all care about the person next to us. We are all focused on the same thing, win but win properly.
What makes you most happy at work?
Work life balance. There are days/weeks I am slammed and there are days/weeks I am comfortable in my work load where I can get my kids on and off the bus. I can take a break for a walk to keep myself grounded.
