What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicate more frequently the why, apply LEAN methodologies to the remote workforce, and shadow once a quarter to learn what the rank and file teams do on a day over day basis. Look at the tools we use, short cuts we find and layers of policies that add to our daily challenges to get the job done

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I am currently a contractor so I don't have the same benefits as full time employees. I do have benefits through contractor and that is the best part of my "compensation package"

Bring us up to the market value is the bare minimum expectations. We are not paid close to what our competitor's comp range

There is little guidance from our direct manager and she is always out sick. The only time I hear from her is when she has negative feedback.

Amazon's 401k match is lackluster - and not competitive. The internal inequity when an Amazonian is promoted to a new level compared to an external is also defeating.

My coworkers need to be held accountable to the same productivity expectations. There is a lack of self service within Amazon amongst new hires that is troublesome.
