Apple doesn’t promote people for their work and skills but more so for relationships and friendships with managers or other interdepartmental employees. A very buddy/buddy environment.
A more objective management staff who aren’t afraid of hiring a better performaning employee over their friend or family member of another department. Pay in accordance of quality of work rather than just focusing on metrics. Won’t give false promise in regard to ones promtoinal eligibility.
