What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I don't even know who our leadership team is beside my DM. If I need to give an answer, I Don't feel like we have really any recognition or I feel like we aren't celebrated enough. I feel like we should be in the quarterly meetings the dm do since we are store leads and we technically run thestores.

Work and solve operational problems. Plenty of operational problems have been going on for a long time and always hear the excuse "we are working on it". The Leadership Team is in dire need of a reality check at the highest level. I am consistently amazed at how out of touch they are when it comes to what logistically works and what is purely a feel good concession. Were also not paid what we are worth by a longshot.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Elimination of traditional promotion metrics and reliance on standing out and being noticed disproportionately affects women in tech who are less likely to brag and more agreeable, resulting in their lagging behind male counterparts. Vague feedback further harms women in tech, with unclear objetives

Two companies have reached out to me and offered me jobs that pay $40-$60k more than I'm making here. I didn't accept because I don't want to travel. Looking around, Asurion is definitely on the low end of compensation for my position

Undervalued is a understatement. I personally believe there is no going forward. Being at the position I'm at there is no moving anymore beside DM. And even at that if the senior managers don't like you they will promoted someone else that they like. It's about being buddy buddy and not performence

Title and pay are not commensurate with market rate for my job duties. I have evaluated market rate using salary surveys for my industry and by speaking to individuals who work in the field.

Compensation is not keeping pace with economy or other corporations. Pay is considered confidential secret info and everyone is way too tight-lipped about it. This requires top-down change. Have seen too many people jump ship for higher comp recently.

Being on two chat platforms greatly impacts a team like mine, I really wish Asurion would pick either Teams or Slack, preferably Slack so we're not trying to stay on top of 2 platforms and missing important conversations or catching up with colleagues.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Benefits costs went up substantially while overall salary remains flat. The pay for the job responsibilities and industry is low, and title is not commensurate with actual job duties. Some managers are difficult to work with.

Tired of meeting and feeling like I'm not worth it to them. I feel like if we put in all this work, and it shows on the report we dont have the possibility to move forward or up

A lot of operational issues have not been addressed and/or fixed. Hold leadership accountable to get those operational issues fixed just like they keep us accountable for our work.

Asurion Leadership could actually listen to us when it comes to things we know more about than them. Portal and UBIF systems in general. They acquired us for a reason and it truly feels like we are being left to burnout as a resource when they could be utilizing us far better
