My most recent pay rise was a cut in both real terms (deflated by any measure of inflation you care to choose) and compared to the market. I was extremely disappointed, and the radio silence since then leads me to assume that this is part of a plan (as used by many companies) to exploit loyalty.

Career framework is poor for product. Despite being part of R&D there's a disparity in the career progression possible for product managers, and no clear reason why. When I joined I didn't know. Merit cycle took ages this year and the raises were meagre, late and not uniform across same promotions.

There hasn't been any support yet offered with the cost of living crisis or rising inflation. It's effectively been a pay cut due to the rising cost of everything else. Yet we are busier than ever and I find I'm doing even more work and even logging in earlier.
