Choice is overall a nice place to work. I am openminded enough to know that some people are selfish and some work great as a team - its who you seek to be acquainted with that shapes your perspective. The realization that your teams work impacts others that is lacking in this company. Seek insight!
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some have been in their positions too long which shouldn't be an issue but they are not willing to change or collaborate to allow for more efficient processes. I believe this is due to them being overworked, undervalued and underpaid. There needs to be a more inclusive environment for collaboration.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am neither excited nor regretful about having to work. It solely depends on who I get the opportunity to work with that day. The work itself is great I just wish we had the support across teams and the pay to make our duties more achievable and enjoyable to accomplish.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have a great relationship with my direct reports. We work closely, collaboratively to the best of our abilities. I feel like there is the support at a personal level where needed and that the small community that I am apart of within the company is very trustworthy and helpful. Need more aboard!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The expectations are said to be set across the board but they are interpreted differently by each Director which is unfair. We should be in alignment across the company to meet expectations. We continue to get more work, less workers and see no change in pay. Cost of Living adjustment is needed.
