I think we are too superficial - we do things to get ranked in the business journals but in reality it is all for show - how we are treated is not how we represent ourselves. Execs don't get feedback from the small guy, they can't be bothered.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Day to day working is good if left along to do your job, the insecurities of our superiors causes them to micro manage and tell us they don't trust us. I have never worked for a company before where your immediate supervisor tells you in your onboarding that they don't trust anyone.

Our medical insurance is a great benefit.

Most corporate staff are friendly and inviting.

We work together and have each others backs.

Most associates work together for the common good or our franchisees.

The package as a hole is good, insurance, paid time off, etc.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Encourage and promote long term employees, remove this culture that younger is better and constant change is good.
What makes you most happy at work?
Usually being able to write my own schedule, go where I'm needed most - this has changed over the past year however.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The constant changes and inconsistency in what is asked by our leaders, it is not for bettering our company, it is for self promotion and self recognition.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication - tell us why we are doing something so we can support it. Someone needs to organize programs rolling out, seems like each department can just "do their own thing" with out coordinationing with other departments. Get rid of Stealth department email signatures.
