What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?For me, its the attitude and work ethic of the people I work with directly on a day to day basis. I like that my manager encourages me to schedule one on one meetings every week so I can ensure I am developing in my career and that my efforts and priorities align with company goals.
What do you like best about the leadership team?I like that I have freedom (no micromanagement) to achieve goals and objectives of our business in the way that I want to and am empowered to make progress.
What makes you most happy at work?I love working in my particular field, but what makes me even happier is working with bright people outside of my field and learning from them. I get to do that a lot at Divergent. There are many bright people here. I'm growing tremendously.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?Better more consistent communication between groups.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Too many projects running in parallel. Get focused and allocate resources where is it needed most.
Divergent has invented a complete manufacturing solution to address system level challenges. The Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) is a complete software hardware solution designed to replace traditional vehicle manufacturing. To make the complex simple, it is a complete modular digital factory for complex structures. Given a set of digital requirements as input, the machine automatically computationally engineers, additively manufactures, and assembles any complex structure. The system is able to move seamlessly between manufacturing different vehicle models.
