The leadership team does more than just dole out tasks. I find that although I am working a relatively low position in the company, I am constantly being given opportunities to work on projects of all size and importance. I learn about other aspects of the industry beyond what the company is doing.

I work a lot from home, which is hard to track work hours, but I believe that if I was working in the office my work would be more accurately accounted for.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a lot of work-life balance and flexibility. The executive want us to be able to balance work and our personal life.

At my previous job, there was a very toxic work culture, with inexperienced managers, no communication, no teamwork, and I felt worthless and disrespected. Events.com is the ABSOLUTE opposite. All departments work together as a team and everyone feels equally important!

What did you like most about the interview process?
The team was transparent and approachable. I felt like each person I talked to was genuinely interested in my background and wanted to see how I could mesh with the team.

None of the interviews felt like interrogations. Everyone was very straight forward and I really felt like they were asking personal questions, not just generic interview questions.
