The PEOPLE!!!! Great people. Smart, highly motivated, and super fun!! We all look forward to working together to accomplish great things and laugh along the way.

They hold themselves accountable to our values. And they're authentic, and always try to do right by their people. Not every fast growth company can really sincerely say that is true.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The equity component. We are growing quickly and everyone seems invested. Also, it's great that the company seems to care about being fair/equitable in how they align compensation with an employees' impact.

My team makes me most happy. I think I can speak not only for myself, but for many of my colleagues, when I say that it's the people here that make this place unique.

The people, the unique challenges and opportunities to learn, and the chance to have real impact - on each other, our customers, and the broader community. ...And again - it's really all about the people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people. We have a high bar for hiring and so it's amazing to constantly look around and know that many of these people will be the leaders of the future. Plus, we have a TON of fun along the way
What did you like most about the interview process?
The best part of the interview process was that the people I met were great - very candid, authentic, and clearly skilled people. I joined and found it easy to immediately engage because I had met the folks I did during the interview process.

I felt like people were super candid and I got a pretty good feel outside in. I also loved being able to visit on a Friday and seeing "By the Numbers" -- fun twist on understanding what each group was up to for the week in a unique and personal way.

They care deeply about their people and consistently strive to improve themselves. As the team has evolved, there seems to be a clear push to solicit candid feedback and act on it. The team seems to be focused on the right set of priorities and is starting to acknowledge what can be done better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The environment is super fun! Not everyone can say they love being around their co-workers but at Klaviyo, it's the norm. When I interviewed it seemed pretty unique that everyone I spoke with worked hard because they wanted to, not because they felt they had to. But we just have a blast together!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone from the CEO down cares deeply about people and our culture. It shows. We are always learning, and do things in a way that feels unique to us. Everyone takes so much pride in our culture and environment. It's the fabric of all of us collectively that gives Klaviyo that special feel.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone cares deeply and the group is truly collaborative. When something goes wrong, people step up to the plate to jump in and help out, even without being asked. We recently did a Mission & Values focus group and one of the biggest topics that came up was the focus on people and being a team.
What makes you most happy at work?
It's fun! My team does great work and it's a positive, upbeat sort of place. We have a culture of pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves and that's a GREAT thing... Also, so many of my co-workers (esp. engineers) get to solve problems they wouldn't get to almost anywhere else!
