Lamar is a wonderful company. Management has always demonstrated an Employee-first approach to decisions. Nothing showed this better than the recent HQ efforts with the Covid outbreak but really year after year HQ and the leadership team is spot on.

Lamar is awesome! This company has allowed us to operate independently while providing great resources and support. We are able to do our best with all the tools we need to be successful.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a positive approach to providing the best in billboards everyday, every time.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Provide the tools I need to be successful and allow latitude for our office to operate as we see best day to day
What makes you most happy at work?
Lots of reasons that work makes me smile. I do get a big kick out of our ability to provide complimentary billboards to many area non-profits

Lamar definitely cares about the employees and shows that consistently in many ways. Perhaps nevermore so than the action steps they took when Covid hit us.

Everyone counts! We have great communication with all of the employees and provide the opportunity for everyone to be in the loop and to contribute to our success

Lots of great things to say about the team here but maybe the best is that folks genuinely care about one another and everyone is engaged in providing the best in billboards everyday

Great team! Very engaged and motivated to reach our goal of being the best of the best everyday every time every billboard and client, Blessed to be with some many wonderful folks
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the billboard business. Love that we help businesses grow and that we support so many local charities and love the relationships that we enjoy. I love high-fiving employees as we celebrate team victories and their individual milestones
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a long-term veteran it is disheartening to not receive any merit increases or wage adjustments to reward and reflect the value I provide. I believe the base pay is out of step with the marketplace and my value to the organization
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a tenured officer of the company, I very much appreciate Lamar and all that is done everyday for our employees. My concern is that the GM pay is not commensurate with the responsibility and that specifically my comp package does not reward my value, my tenure, loyalty and long-term successes.
