The people I work with. I could do any job known to man with a smile on my face as long as I had these people with me.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're more than just Co-Workers. My team genuinely cares about each other. When you care about the people that you work for/with, you care about how they perform and how we perform overall as a plant.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is very laid back. As long as we meet our deadlines and the plant is performing well, the "HOW" isn't as important. I have freedom to do my job as I see fit as long as it gets done.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Lamar has the security of a massive company but the care and freedoms of a small independent business. That surely stems from Lamar's policy to give General Managers a little rope to make the plant their own, and I feel lucky to have the General Manager that I do.
