I appreciate the transparency of the leadership team. I love that employees at the plant level are asked to participate in new project initiatives, leadership groups, training opportunities, etc.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Bonusing opportunity is a huge perk, that I'm appreciative of and is very motivating. I also love that I am encouraged to use my PTO time without feeling any guilt.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love the team atmosphere at Lamar and how we all work great individually and on a team. Most of my coworkers always offer help if I'm overwhelmed, and I can't ask for more than that!
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy at work when we are doing team building activities! We get in an every day rut of chasing goals, and hustling to get art on the street and when we have cook-outs or game days - it's such a nice break to put work aside and come together as a team to celebrate!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Taking your PTO time is encouraged, and not frowned upon. I also appreciate that we get to work from home one day each week. Most of us live quite a distance away, and it's nice to not have to drive 30-45 minutes to work. It is also nice to be able to knock out tasks for a day without interruptions!
