I have been very satisfied over the last 12 years. In the Covid days, Lamar lead by examples by not laying off anyone and paying their employees throughout the pandemic. This made me proud to be apart of the Lamar Team
My over all experience has been positive. When my family has had medical needs in the past, Lamar has been extremely accommodating. This has been most valuable to me.
They care about me and my family
Accomplishing goals as well as have great co-workers.
They keep Lamar as a family oriented work place.
We are treated like family not employees. That goes along way.
The family like setting is the most positive aspect of our company.
Everyone is thoughtful for each other. We all treat everyone with respect.
It is a very friendly environment. It is like one big family.
The family atmosphere plays a huge role from the ground up to management.
Everyone is a team player. Our team works together and not against each other.
The positive atmosphere. Also the acknowledgement when we have success. It is nice to be appreciated.
Since Covid, the job market is very competitive. I think that the wages need to be increased to keep quality talent.
The team works hard to meet a common goal. With this in mind, we are still treated with respect along the way.
I do not believe that compensation is severely under paid, but I do believe it could be more considering the responsibilities that I have on a daily basis.
Achieving goals while not sacrificing the respect of all individuals that are involved. Nothing makes me happier than seeing other people exciting to be working for Lamar, liking their jobs, as well as the company. This makes for a Fantastic home life outside of work as well.
In the lat couple of years wages have gone up almost every field of employement. To attract good people and to keep good people, you have to get with the current increases that have happened across the board. In the current times, younger generations care less about benefits and more about wages.
