Lamar is a good place to work. I wish I would have found them when I was younger. I am in my early 50s and starting at Lamar, I had to restart my career with a new company. Due to the poor commission structure, this makes it tough to make ends meet as the only income in my house.

Lamar is a great place to work. I feel my management team truly cares about me, my family, and my success. If I ask for help, I receive it.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my commission structure is too low. I came from an industry that paid 15% to 20% commissions per sale.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I believe my team is genuinely proud to be a Lamar employee. I do feel we are a TEAM at my plant/office.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our commission structure is far to low compared to other media. I struggle to support myself and my wife, who is ill. I love the company. I can see myself staying here for a long time. But I would entertain interviewing with another company if they offered better pay.
