Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I love this place and our team is like family. I love the work I am doing and enjoy it every day. I would need to see a dramatic change to my work environment or some other worldly compensation package to necessitate a move anywhere else at this point in my career. I plan to remain long term.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all share a competitive drive, have respect for one another, pick each other up when we have a difficult day and genuinely appreciate everyone at the plant.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Corporate staff have a positive attitude and work to help the members at the plant level. Our local plant has a strong and positive culture with accountability and trust.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Mileage reimbursement and phone reimbursement are critical. In addition, the recent increase in company holidays was much appreciated. The most important piece for me was the paid military leave policy that Lamar provides to reservists in the US Uniformed Services.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My General/Territory Manager, Regional Real Estate Manager, and Regional Manager continue to deliver on providing clear goals, answers and empowerment to do my job to the best of my ability. They genuinely care about my success as an individual and the success of the company as a whole.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team values us like family. Specifically, Lamar's support for their employees actively serving our country in the reserves and national guard is second to none. I have never felt more valued as an employee from Baton Rouge to our local plant level. I wouldn't work anywhere else!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is invested in the success of the plant. Attitudes are excellent and there is a strong focus on doing a great job and working together. Our culture is fantastic. Our team is respectful and everyone is comfortable to come to work knowing they are appreciated and valued.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our GM/TM works harder than anyone else. There is an inherent respect for him and it trickles down to our other managers and all plant level employees. The work environment has no drama or hostility. Accountability is strong. Openness to new ideas is always present - Innovation is encouraged.
What makes you most happy at work?
Regardless of challenging circumstances, our plant is committed to delivering a high quality product to our customers. The attitude at our plant is infectious among all members and it is set from the top down. Everyone is valued here. Everyone is respected here. We have a team mentality each day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Military leave policy is second to none. Our benefits are sufficient for my family's needs. The ESPP program is an added bonus. I appreciate the increase in paid holidays that were added last year. Overall, the benefits are above average and have a great impact on my decision to work here.
