Ive worked at 2 diffrent plants with lamar now and have really enjoyed my years here and want to strive further in the company learning and moving up the ladder
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to have a moderate amount of work and learning new thing at the same time so that i dont feel rushed or over stressed especialy on a hot summer day
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My operations manger in very indepented and well versed in the understading of where the company wants to go and how to lead the crew and i in the direction we need to go
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are a good group of guys with some of us having alot in common but then some others just have a condescending personality around them where they are trying to be over you constantly undermining your hard work when your both tasked with the same job
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
More attention to pay raises on performance and initiative rather than a base line because it does not want to make people work harder if your just getting the same base rase every year when you enjoy what your doing and want to prosper withen the company while some other people wont work as hard
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Me and some of my coworkers all play video games so it bring a fun environment to the work place where well all play games the night before and be aboe to talk and laugh about it the next day at work to make the go by a little quicker and have a overale more enjoyable day
