Pay should be commiserate with experience and level of knowledge

The atmosphere of the office is very nice and most employees are extremely friendly.

They are invested not only in the success of the company but in the success of each employee.

The company cares about the individual employee and provides various programs to assist employees if personal issues arise. The company makes a strong effort to create a community atmosphere thru various activities such as parties, celebrations. etc.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have created a sense of community as we share the same work goals and are friendly to each other. We are concerned about each others' lives outside of work. As a result, we work well together as a team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am not paid according to my years of experience and good performance as the new hires are being paid almost as much as I am. In other words, the value that my maturity, experience brings to my performance is not necessarily recognized thru compensation.
