Every one of my coworkers is always willing to lend a hand to their fellow employees if they're able to. It feels good to work alongside people that you not only get along with easily, but pull their own weight and consistently contribute to the day's tasks.
Working at Lamar sometimes feels like working for "the last good company in the United States." I feel well taken care of as an employee, both professionally and personally. I genuinely feel our leadership from the top down cares about and appreciates us, which makes it a lot easier to do good work.
Basically, everyone at Lamar Graphics is friendly and helpful. We get along swimmingly, and in my years here I can't remember any sort of drama or fallings out taking place. I like to think being based in Louisiana (one of the most welcoming places on earth) may have something to do with it.
I love working from home, and I love working for a company that listens to us and does whatever it can to make work more comfortable and enjoyable. When companies started to shift away from WFH post-Covid, Lamar let us keep on going, because they knew it made us happier and more efficient workers.
