Lamar Advertising – It's fine, I guess, but it could be better on a day-to-day basis. Great benefits are offset by an outdated work mentality. And the higher-ups refuse to hire people so one person ends up doing multiple peoples' jobs, which leads to sub-par work, but no one that can change anything cares. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

We're close to some good restaurants.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

They send me to Florida for free every two years, so that's cool.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

LET. US. WORK. FROM. HOME. You can't claim to be an environmentally-friendly company and then demand everyone drive to and from work every day when your employees can just as easily work from home, and be much happier doing it!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

General manager is cool. They still want us to work in the office even though 90% of us can do our jobs from home, and then have the audacity to ask us about our work/life balance. No, boss, work/life balance is impossible if you spend more time in the office than at home. Dumb question.
