I feel the company as a whole is overall a good company to work for but locally, the GM ruins it and is why we have the turnover we do.

they pay is ok but not crazy about the PTO structure or benefits

My sales manager makes sure he invest time into each of us as individuals

We all get along and are a team for the most part and look out for one another.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our SM is a pretty positive person and not having to be in the office everyday helps a lot in not having to deal with or interact with the GM a whole lot.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The GM needs to learn to lead without his personal emotions interfearing. The way he speaks to the entire staff is completly unacceptable and at times vulger and every day is a guessing game as to what mood he will be in.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel the pay structure is set up for the company to benefit not us. The medical is also a lot and does not cover much in terms of mental health/care which is badly needed and essential in todays society; especially at our local company.
