Lamar Advertising – Great job, but pay can and should be more for the amount of work put in. Base pay is incredibly low where I practically solely rely on my commission payments for all bills and personal life. The breakdown of $300 and change a week for base pay is so low after taxes ($600 and change after 2 weeks). | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

Helping clients and working with businesses of all sizes.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Freedom to work and accomplish your work without being micromanaged.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our Sales manager does a great job at keeping us motivated and focused while giving his reps freedom to do their job without micromanaging.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are all at work to come together for the same common goal. To hit our sales numbers individually and as a branch.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Salaries are incredibly low. Commission percentages are very low as well. If you sell out of market, it takes the same work as selling within your own market but you still only make 1% commission. Paying more would retain employees.
