It has good days and hard days, I don't always agree with every plan of action, but at the end of the day I wouldn't rather be anywhere else. There is a real community feeling with the team I work with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Knowing that my voice is heard and considered, my work-life-balance is the best it has been in a long time.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy my job, and that makes a huge difference in my mental health, also knowing that there is room for advancement and a clear path for how to do so.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Lamar offers many more options than other companies I have worked at. Having the Employee life web portal makes accessing those benefits seamless, and transparent. the company goes above and beyond when their people are in need and I love that.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all support each other at work with the tasks that need to be accomplished no matter how good or bad any of us may feel that day. I would go as far as to call them my brothers, because we share our personal struggles and lift each other up in times of need.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The people I work with make sure I have what I need at work, but not only that, they tend to go beyond that, and make sure I'm doing well as an individual. I left the company several years ago and came back, I found that at Lamar there is a unique "small business feel." I don't want to leave again!
