Our compensation process is really transparent, I know what I need to do to earn a raise or a promotion and work towards those goals. Nothing comes as a surprise.

The company really tries to walk the walk, not just talk the talk, in terms of making everyone feel safe - which I think is reflected in the diversity of our staff. I'm not your 'typical' tech worker, but I joined Lever because I felt respected, and that's true all these years later!
