Focus, focus, focus. We do not have enough resources to complete the work that is being asked. We also aren't being given enough time to both build a feature, but also build it in a scalable and sustainable way.
Stronger alignment from top to bottom. Teams aren't supported as much as they should be based on what they are being asked to do. e.g. not enough resources, not enough focus, changes in focus, dictated solutions and not problems, etc. It's tough to actually deliver customer value in that environment
Operate more like a SaaS company and learn from others in the industry. We aren't the first that need to have a crisp vision, set objectives, priorities, and get out rapid delivery over time. But it seems like every year we are reinventing ourselves and struggle to keep focus over time.
