Just do a Ctrl+Z on the culture. Its going to worse from a year or so. Let the team feel some air, each day looks like a layoff day. (Specially SQA team morale is tooo down. The culture that put efforts to retain you is now asking you to find a better option and leave, due to uncertainty of job role

When they ask for feedback, they don't want feedback, they want affirmation of the conclusions they already made. Accept feedback, don't turn it into a debate to prove ICs are wrong.

High reviews, raises haven't even kept up with inflation. Benefits cut. We used to celebrate success, now its completely ignored.

Not getting pay raises and all off a sudden not laying off feels like a pay raise. Too much uncertainty about the SQA roles after all this AI episode. No new benefits added to the bucket from a long time. Most important thing for now id to show confidence in your team and nullify layoff pressure.
