What does the leadership team need to get better at?
My leadership needs to do better at seeing their employees as people. As employees, we are spoken down to as if we are children and some comments made are inappropriate. We are often asked to not speak or laugh with one another and our suggestions for improving the department are never considered.

They are very judgmental; they do not care nor wish to understand that this job is not your life. The week i started in this department, they judged me and assumed what they wanted and have not been kind or respectful ever since.

I work from home, so I don't really see them. I think there is a disconnect with support teams, but I think our new system should help with a lot of this.

Allow employees to do their job effectively.

The director of the department needs to be let go! This is a very nice position, but the director has ruined the department. Everyone fears her and hates her at the same time. half of the team is looking for a new position. no one respects her. She is a dictator, you cannot have a voice or opinion.

More open communication without the fear of penalty. I feel that management can get on a power trip and not hear out the concerns that staff have that are valid. It seems that leadership can have room for error and we cannot.
