Communication is practically non-exsistant. Turn over rate is very high. Unorganized. Scheduals are out 1-2 days before next work week, its disrepectful. If emloyees are expected to show up on time and to their job, managers need to have that same level of responsibility to their employees.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I don't know what i would do to improve the process
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication and Organization. Giving employees the support and means to succeed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My Coworkers. We help and support one another to get the job done.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Remember your employees and managers have lives outside of work and be conscious of that when building a schedual. Respect goes both ways but managers are the back bone of everything and need to set a better example. Standards need to be put in place and followed.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Our store opened almost 10 months ago and we NEVER had a TEAM meeting. Bringing back Team Meetings would help. Our GM needs better communication. He will start saying something to you then either say Never Mind and walk a way or say nothing and walk away in mid sentence. We need a strong leader.
