I am an over night baker,I have been employed with panera for 17- 18 years and honestly like my job. I enjoy what i do. Ive had up and downs tbere over the years, a few bad experiences also many good ones too. Over all im a lifer with panera

Personalities, hard workers, very accommodating, the baker night life
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very accommodating. They didn't use to be, but management has gotten alot bette these days.
What makes you most happy at work?
Baking, keeping my work environment tip top, seeing the end product of what i baked all night
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The trust they put in us. The independence of the job. The responsibility of producing the product that literally makes the whole company... the bread the pastries! Its pretty cool seeing tour end product at the end of each shift
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Ive put 18 years in to panera. Im a baker, loyal, dedicated,dependable employee.was not compensated when minimum wage increased. I believe i am underpaid for the time&dedication i have.Its very discrediting to seenew employees getting hired on at my hr rate. It took me 18years!
