Management staff routinely uses wildly inappropriate language while on the clock. Vile name-calling and threats of physical violence are just the beginning. I usually enjoy my consistent work,but now my managers are making me very physically uncomfortable.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They barely asked me anything
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Panera should pay a living wage to each of its employees (at least $15/hour no matter the position) or close it's doors permanently.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication. Tensions are always high because they do not communicate effectively between themselves or the hourly associates. Managers need to stop cursing and using wildly inappropriate language around staff, guests, and the minors working at the cafe.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Taking responsibility for their own work. No one cleans up after themselves, no one restocks anything, and the managers never check that cleaning tasks are done by the end of shift so line workers just leave the cafe filthy.
