Overall it's been a rewarding experience to work for Panera. I do love most of the stores I visit. I just feel after the store experience they forget about us we are just a number.

How comfortable and friendly the manager was.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Family unity, great communication skills, our sense of belonging, our sense of being part of a great team.
What makes you most happy at work?
The customers and being able to engage with them. It's wonderful to feel they come to visit because of us.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
How we value our customers and each other as staff. We have bonded well. When a new hire comes in we welcome them completely. Sometimes they just don't wanna fit in and end up leaving. Sometimes our love doesn't fit others agenda.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
You take away our raises for being an associate trainer and give us nothing but bread as a token of your appreciation for what we do. Seriously is this the value that represents us as humans? We need to survive and with the sub par working conditions (low staff to work ratio) pay us a little more.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
All this time we've worked and sacrificed our health for the good of the company. Yes, we have gotten paid. Yet, some of us had to quarantine due to exposure and haven't been paid or anything. I love working for Panera. I love my team. I love so much about the family unity of working here.
