The company constantly lies to it's employees to keep them from quitting; They promises raises that you'll never get. They told me if I stayed they'd "promote me to a shift supervisor", which they did in the sense that I had a much harder job but I later found out that they never increased my pay.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop putting toxic people on a power trip into high level positions that they didn't earn.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
If every Panera burnt to the ground, then I'd finally be happy about the condition of the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'd feel better about my compensation if I was actually receiving the compensation that I'm supposed to be. I have the title of shift supervisor and have to preform all of the corresponding duties/ responsibilities but I still get paid the same amount as a newly hired associate.
