What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership group is supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in my growth. My manager is especially proactive and consistently helps remove blockers, provides guidance, and makes sure I have what I need to succeed.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Immediate supervisor is great, but above that, there is no humanity or personal involvement. There is not proper project planning, and processes can be better to mitigate bottlenecks and stress. Feedback processes need to be implemented and more transparency needs to be practiced.

Theres a strong emphasis on output, and not one on the quality of work. There is no consistency, guidance, documentation, code is not scalable, there is no structure or organization. The company will likely collapse in the next 5 years. We need to pause and fix what is there before scaling further

Better pay for engineers who have been at the company for a few years. More flexibility in work schedules with more options for remote work. The food quality is atrocious, so better quality meals even if that means increasing its cost by a bit.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not believe people are paid to their merit. Everything is just dependent on what level you got hired at. Dev points are still extremely subjective, especially since tickets are not estimated out nor closed with proper status tags. I can be performing at 5 levels up but not reach that for 5 yrs

My requests to adjust my pay have been ignored multiple times. There were cases of returning interns getting a higher salary than me after working at Paycom for multiple years. Adjusted pay and more financial transparency would solve these issues.

New hires are paid more than me despite having several years more experience than them. Leadership makes decisions about the company direction that has lots of push back by entire teams/modules and still refuse to take criticism or make reconsiderations
