I've been able to start at the bottom and work my way up. I've learned so many skills from how to communicate in a business environment, Excel, Outlook, effective time management, and how to project confidence. I learned to be a leader and I am continuing to grow. My experience has been rewarding.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love problem solving and helping others. In my role I get plenty of an opportunity to do both!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love how much attention Paycom pays to giving us activities to engage in, reminding us of important items like mental health and charity, and focusing on communication.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love how the TAX supervisors are willing to get involved in everything. They love to have fun, challenge each other, and give plenty of opportunities for specialists to get involved too!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe Team Leaders should be paid more. With specialists that have been here a portion of time less being paid the same or higher and the amount of responsibilities we have, it would make sense to have higher pay. Especially now with remote work option at other companies and inflation highs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all love to laugh but still work really hard to accomplish our goals for our department and our teams. I know I have a group that I can rely on for assistance and that I know could take over if I needed to step away. There are there for me on hectic days and I can provide for them too!
