Currently, my company is not the place it used to be. There is a culture of fear that exists at the moment. Growth opportunities have been stopped and we have not been given any updates as to when those will resume. I am concerned my career growth has stalled
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I expect a compensation review to happen for my department. based on the research I have done on the market for my position we are not getting comparable total compensation (outside just salary)
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The culture has taken a significant decline over the last couple of years, in particular the past year. Major layoffs and reduction in staff have caused a lot of anxiety in the workplace. Questions and concerns are not always treated with an open mind
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
stick to a clear vision of the future and goals that the business is moving towards. Often, goals and expectations are changing weekly that do not allow employees to set goals for themselves and achieve those goals. Promotions have been on hold for 7 month and not allowing my growth to happen
