I started at Phenom with minimal to no training and joined a department that expressed no interest in getting to know me as a person. I have expressed ways where I could see things improve and have been met with a "that's not how we do things" attitude.

Listening to employees. The leadership team seems closely focused on the end goal of what they want to achieve without consideration for how to engage their employees to accomplish that goal.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My core team is full of excellent people led by a manager that endeavors to listen to and engage with us. This encourages a positive atmosphere to collaborate to meet our goals.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company is largely focused on a goal of pushing to IPO and seems to be ignoring building a core structure of collaboration and positive relationships. Many people appear overworked and there aren't proper incentives towards working towards a common goal.
